Over charged both times ive been here by hundreds of dollars. On top of the absolute snotty attitudes by the staff at every turn. Both stays going to our room there were dirty dishes left in the hallway. Also don’t park ur car here. 60$ a day plus 11$ parking tax per day is absurd. This hotel fakes fancy and has the nasty attitude to go along with it. I could go on and on about it. Don’t stay here it’s the worst Kimpton ive ever stayed. Corporate should close it or clean house.

Hi. I was told at the property, upon check-in, they did not recognize Expedia vip benefits and i did not receive any of the benefits associated with vip platinum status. That is one of the reasons I chose the hotel and feel I was misled and this was misrepresented. Totally unacceptable.

The location was really unbeatable. Close to Dupont and Logan Circles, but just far enough not to hear all the traffic and hustle and bustle. People were friendly and room was very nice. I would stay there again.

The hotel is nice, but it only has two elevators and no service elevator. Waiting on the elevator because it’s full was annoying. The rooftop is only available for events, maybe I missed that when booking. :-( The staff was very pleasant.

This is an exceptional boutique hotel. The room was bigger than most hotel rooms, very clean, and the staff was very courteous and attentive. The restaurant was fantastic The food was very good. If I come to DC again I will definitely stay here. I previously stayed at an upscale popular hotel which was very nice but this one had bigger rooms and being a boutique hotel the staff knew who you were everyday coming and going and were so friendly and helpful. It was off the main road so it was a little bit less traffic in front of the hotel and it made it easier to get in and out. It had a cozy seating area out front with fire pits and lush Landscape. You could also eat outside. I loved sitting out front in the morning having coffee and listening to the birds. I highly recommend this hotel.

Check-in was delayed despite a confirmed Expedia reservation, and we were given rooms on different floors, contrary to what was promised. Throughout our four-day stay, we faced repeated issues: calls for basic amenities like tea bags and paper cups, used towels not being replaced, and long waits for any service. The ice machine on the 8th floor didn’t work, and we were never offered the complimentary wine coupons or restaurant discount. The rooftop restaurant, a big draw for us, was closed to guests and only open for private events. When asked, the front desk said it stays closed due to liability concerns — so why advertise it as a feature? The staff was kind and wanted to help, but clearly constrained. Overall, the series of small but persistent issues left a bad taste, and we’ll be booking elsewhere next time.
