Lyle is in Dupont Circle, near the Metro and about a 30 minute walk to the Mall. The breakfasts are outstanding! Rooms very comfortable. Kitchenette not that useful, no microwave and the fridge is really a minibar. No view in our room, but plenty to see outdoors.

It was clean and in a nice neighborhood. However, the walls seemed paper thin and you could hear everyone walking in the halls and the people in the rooms next to you. Beware they charge an extra daily fee that is not included in the price when you book the hotel. Not sure what the fee is exactly for...

The shower water handle fell off repeatedly, no grab bars in the shower, bathroom had a window in the door with a curtain that wouldn’t close all the way, safe and table in the closet restricted hanging clothes to about 6 inches wide, my inhaler was dropped and left on the floor behind the sink. There are lockers in the hall. Very unappealing. The bed and pillows were wonderful.
