The hotel was great. They were accommodating with holding luggage before check in. The room was clean and comfortable. The gym had cold towels. Location was super easy to get to on the subway line. Rooms are super small, but that’s part of the hotel style. I would seek out another Motto hotel for my next business trip.

Staff was so polite and accommodating. Very clean room. Easy access to dining options in walking distance. Nice roof top bar too. Parking was a little tricky, but we aren’t used to parking in big cities.

Across the street from Marth Surrat's!

A no frills stay in a great location. If you're looking for a place to sleep but are really not using the room for anything but for that... this is the place. The twin matress was extremely comfortable. I'm sure there are other options at the establishment, but it served my purpose extremely well. Staff were professional and always helpful. Oh... and history is right across the street.

Parking is not convenient. Guests have to figure out and find a link for parking sign-up. All process takes about 30 min. And QR code at parking garage also tricky.

What’s my “ Motto “ ? Well .. it’s the only place I will stay in DC from now on ! First impressions are everything , especially in business , and from the moment I walked into the lobby to check my bag so I could roam around without it , I was greeted warmly and courteous. I won’t say what time so they don’t get inundated with the same request .. but I was informed that I could check in already ! Most places barely let you check in on TIME ! If you’re going as a single , or even a twosome , these rooms are perfect for you ! Metro is right across the street , and you’re just paces from the Chinatown arch . The Chinese food is obviously fantastic right within walking distance , and 90 Second Pizza is literally 300 yards down the street. You had me at “ Hello “ .. welcome to the Motto !

While the hotel is central, it's right on the edge of Chinatown with several late night bars and night clubs nearby and almost constant police sirens. It is quite an unsafe area and I would not stay again.

Great hotel for the location and price. My room was located under the rooftop restaurant and was noisy at peak times. I noticed a lot of women staying at this hotel, which provided a level of comfort as a solo female traveler.

I loved how it was in the middle of China Town and only a 2 minute walk from the metro station. Very cute place and super affordable! I paid $450 for 3 nights!

I was nervous of the off-site parking but it worked out. Short walk to the museum and the whiskey bar was amazing. Shout out to the bartender.
