A fun stylish hotel with a very friendly staff. Rooms were a little small but my girlfriend and I were still comfortable. The hotel is surrounded by excellent restaurants and the capitol arena is a five minute walk away. I would certainly visit again next time I'm in DC.
They are not kidding about cozy rooms! I couldn't open my suitcase in mine. This is a great value for the location. The rooms don't have fridges, which is fine because you're surrounded by great restaurants in Chinatown. It's perfect for a solo work trip. I wouldn't suggest bringing small kids, though.

Perfect cozy room in a convenient downtown DC location. Staff was very friendly and texted several times to ask if I needed anything.
The staff are lovely and cannot fault them, the room was the smallest room on our journey, it was a boutique hotel and I’ve stayed in a boutique hotel before and you do not getting coffee/tea facilities in these hotels, they have hangar pegs for coats etc and pegs for hanging your haversack etc on. The bathroom was good and the hotel is good for walking around to museums, White House and the metro is 2 minutes away and union station half hour away for trains. There is loads of restaurants, coffee shops in the area. The hotel is on a busy street so if your a light sleeper I wouldn’t recommend but the hotel does supply ear plugs.
Staff was lovely. Room tiny but they warned me and said it is a microtel, which was ok with me. It seemed very European actually. Very clean. No coffeemaker, but they brought me a tea kettle to heat water, whichfit the bill!! Wonderful ecperience and right across st. From chinatown metro which was a plus!!
Would definitely recommend! Room was very clean, staff was very nice and helpful, location was great (in the heart of restaurants, etc. and close to the Capitol, Smithsonian, etc.), plenty of space for a smaller style room. Great value for a really wonderful stay!

Great spot to sleep hard if you're traveling by yourself or with another person. Very simple, and great cocktail bar downstairs.
