Stayed here for 3 days to attend a wedding. My husband and I loved the coffee& tea bar on 2 and floor. The bed in our room was so comfortable. The desk helped us when we needed to catch a cab. The Dubliner Irish bar down stairs has great Irish stew. And My husband said it was delicious.Also the breakfast there is decent. And Kelly's Irish bar down the street is a hole in the wall but cheap to drink there and we liked that alot. Really close to union station and the hub to catch a trolley tour. Highly recommend this hotel.

Very kind and courteous staff. The room itself was small and pretty basic but it was sufficient for my needs during my short business trip. No in-room microwave but there's one in the 2nd floor kitchen. The single-use shampoo/conditioner bottles are very tiny and it's hard to use up all the contents so that seemed a bit wasteful to me and I'd suggest changing that. But otherwise this is a nice older hotel in a great location, and all the staff I interacted with were lovely.

This is an older hotel, hence it is somewhat more spacious with nice amenities, such as immediate hot water, good sized bars of soap, and a coffee lounge on the second floor, with many, many choices. Our bed was very comfortable with well- filled pillows that provided excellent support. The hotel is a 2 block walk from Union Station and, for its location, the prices were very reasonable. Staff service was considerate and excellent. About the only thing that was missing was streaming TV access.

We found favor and grace in this dwelling place.
Check in was easy and we truly felt like we were welcomed guests. Fifi remembered our phone conversation from the day before our arrival which impressed me. I brought a group of 12 women and special attention was given to locate us on the same floor. The room I shared with 3 other ladies had an issue with the air-conditioner, Juan worked diligently to fix it for us. When he discovered it would take additional work he made sure we were moved to another room and were comfortable there. The hotel was lovely, we couldn't have chosen a better location, all that, together with a warm, cheery welcome, the twelve us highly recommend this as your resting place throughout your stay in Washington DC.

I love the location. Staff was friendly too. There’s an Irish pub in the lobby area - I smelled fish every time I passed the front desk. Maybe it’s time the restaurant invested in better ventilation system.

The location of the hotel is very walkable, on a well lit street near the Capitol. There's a restaurant in the hotel and a great breakfast place two doors down in the same block. The valet parking service is EXCELLENT! The driver is courteous and attentive and even cleaned my windshield. Great experience!
