Such an iconic hotel that should have the top end of everything, especially given the cost for each night. I found the towels to be less than luxurious the toilet paper was definitely not quality, not having a dresser to unpack our suitcase was unacceptable. Then, on top of those definite disappointments, we were unable to get cold water out of the tap. Both faucets gave us hot water.

Excellent onsite food and beverage. No other good amenities. Meaningless VIP benefit and no room upgrade. Nothing offered at check in. Had to call Expedia to get a free drink ticket... 40 dollar a day "resort fee" is absurd.

They gave us a room which had a plumbing issue, and they knew it has a major issue. At the beginning they were pretending they don't know about it. But then after two days they agreed it's an issue they already knew about it. They are fake, lier, dishonest, and they shamelessly play with travelers just for a few hundred dollars. It is a shame. We had a very unpleasant painful and bad experience staying there. There are many good hotels there in DC. You don't need to stay in such a junk place with shameless dishonest people.
