Fine hotel but lots of issues need to be addressed: Communications: Hotel phone number not on their website. Why not? Hotel sent me welcome notice, but Expedia blanked out phone number twice. Very poor policy!!! If you look online, you mainly get reservations line. You can't call the desk directly; dial 0 and it goes to national call center. I called for car, no answer. Had to walk down to desk to ask for it. Room: OK, but no chest of drawers, dark like tomb. Lowest wattage bulbs, no light near only chair. Asked for floor lamp, had to ask multiple times. Shower great. Lobby restrooms on lower level, so dark had problem finding them, signs totally unreadable. Food very good but limited menu. Wait staff generally very friendly, helpful. Prepaid breakfast, but turns out that has limited menu, not regular full menu. Overall, seems understaffed. Lobby entrance not always "manned," no concierge desk.

Beautiful hotel!! Staff was excellent. Rooms were on the small side and did not have a lot of space for clothing-only a closet. No drawers or shelves etc. Cafe is excellent as is the basement bar.

Outstanding, friendly service, great amenities, and comfortable rooms. Great location too for walking everywhere. I never noticed noise outside either. I had a very restful sleep and the rooms with bathtubs were perfect after a half marathon run. The bars and food were wonderful.
