Service and attention were very good. I didn't like that guests' pets were allowed in the restaurant. I love animals, but it's unsanitary that pets are in an area where they shouldn't be.

The barroom wasn’t clean. There was trash left by the trash bin in the bathroom . There was a fruit fly welcoming us to the room as soon as we opened the door.

The property was really close to the White House, which was a big part of our trip. The hotel had valet parking so we didn't need to worry about parking. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very large and clean. Would recommend.

Hotel rooms were tired, room service "service", china, and food quality were poor, dated and expensive. Baked goods in hotel at one-time WERE excellent -- no more :( A croissant was literally the length of a teaspoon. Towels, quilt, robes and bathroom accessories all old and tattered. Not the hotel or service i came to expect since coming to Sofitel for over 30 years ago (although have not been since Covid in 2020). Sad to see the downgrade.

The only negative thing about staying at this hotel is there is no over night parking except their valet. Which is $65 a night. So include that into your stay.

The hotel is located in a very convenient and walkable location close to the White House and various other monuments. Lots of great restaurants and attractions in the area around. The hotel could use some updating particularly in the room bathrooms.

Not impressed

Claudia in housekeeping was proactive providing assistance as well as the gentleman named Jaquai. Advertised coffee service in lobby was empty and no offer to address the issue. Refrigerator in room barely kept beverages cold. Shower was very small and no fan in bathroom.
