We were charged $500 for 1 night out of no where when all the rest of the days were around $150-180 and there was no explanation from the front desk. There was no air conditioning available for our room so we were drenched in sweat at night and the only suggestion from the staff was to open the window; however, this is unsafe on the first floor. Our room was right next to the front desk, the elevator and a utility closet so we heard a slam of equipment, people yelling on and off the elevator and front desk people all hours of the day causing severe lack of sleep. Our tub didnt drain at all and had to be pumped while we were in the room and after the 2nd shower it returned to thr same state. The only good thing about this very outdated hotel was the somewhat close proximity to the Lincoln Memorial and kind of the mall area. The breakfast provided is outrageously priced and is subpar at best. Extremely displeased with this experience.

The room was large and spacious, the bed very comfy, but the hotel is dated. There was no fan in the bathroom, which is very inconvenient. Also, I would suggest that they change the lightbulb to warm yellow, instead of cold white, it would make the room feel a lot more cosy. The location of the hotel is great, and overall we are very happy with our stay because the price was so good.

Loved the Deluxe Room
Booking of the room was good, there is no mention of the security fee. That total amount should be mention/ shown in the booking (app)($60-100) breakdown, no surprises. Absolutely loved the deluxe room, complimentary water and bag of ice. Their Parking was full so The directions for the G parking on G Street, should be clearer than a sign with red arrows!! We came in through the F street side! So the directions on the card was a little off. It should be worded as well, like drive up past hotel to first Left on 22nd, then left on G at light look on LEFT SIDE before next light, small Parking sign middle of block, on left, turn into alley, drive up alley to black door on left, place car at Door and it will open. I’d recommend this hotel!!! Quiet even though there are a lot of rooms on each floor!

I stayed here the last time I was in DC, some years ago. I can walk to the White House, Lincoln Memorial, The National Mall and the Washington Monument within minutes. I'll never stay anywhere else when in DC again!
