The room had a strange odor upon arrival, the towel rack was right above the toilet so towel and washcloth ended up in the toilet. The hardwood floors were nice, but cold on my feet.

We have stayed at a few Super 8's in our travels around this country, they are NOT our first choice by a long shot! but sometimes you don't have any other options, so I was a little Leary booking this one in Washington. MO., again not a lot of options, BUT we were pleasantly surprised! SAFE (no transients), CLEAN, FRIENDLY STAFF AND CONVIENENT to anything around the Washington area.

The whole hotel had a strong smell of a cleaning chemical and out room had an overpowering smell of a cleaning material that gave me a headache and a sore throat. Tried to get a refund on this and because we had reserved this room on expedia was unable to obtain a refund for the 2 nights. Ended up going to another hotel which was excellent.

Definitely needs to be updated! The floor had a tacky feeling from when they cleaned the floor. Conveniently located in a good area to restaurants, shopping and etc.

For the price, had better motels. To me, Motel 8 is just an upgrade from a Motel 6. No elvators, coffee makers in rooms, bare basic breakfast items, no bibles, instructions how to get tv remote to work or remortes that dont work the way they should. But when the motel is the only one in the area your staying, your choice is limited.

This was the worst experience ever. We tried to get checked in for 2 hours and no attendant was on duty. The call number was the front desk and there was no attendant. We did not get to check in and ended up leaving and sleeping in our truck. Very disappointed and would like my money refunded.
