Okay but not what it used to be.

The Mayflower is getting a bit shabby. It’s acceptable and the fact that there are no school trippers is enough to recommend it. But if you are looking for a five star type experience from 20 years ago, you will be disappointed. Beds are really bad.

Great stay. Convenient staff was super helpful. Only downside was that the business center was incomplete as the printer was broken and there was not a copier. Staff was helpful but I found a workaround. Relatedly why isn’t there free WiFi? Every mid range hotel has this. I got around it with a hotspot but that is a pet peeve with upscale hotels. But I will definitely stay here again
