This was a very pleasant Inn. The staff are extremely friendly and the accommodations were comfortable. I plan to return next January as the neighborhood has so many accessible stores in walking distance. I no longer drive so a cab ride to museums, etc affordable. The on site restaurant is on par with great Italian restaurants in NYC. I had cooking facilities so only ate there once but I've let others know of the quality go the menu.

The room was immaculate and very roomy. What stood out the most about the River Inn is the outstanding staff that we encountered at the front desk, the valet, and the restaurant. Friendly and so happy to help out any way they could, the staff made our stay so enjoyable. We’ll be back when in DC!

Maneuvering between the residential part of the building and a hotel part of the building was extremely irritating. The people who live in this building. Don’t want to share their building with people who are staying overnight in a hotel. The whole idea is horrible and the state was horrible.

We always enjoy our stays at The River Inn. One huge perk for us is that it is pet friendly with no extra fee. Walking distance to Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s and great shopping in Georgetown. Each room has a full kitchen too.

The River Inn has the nicest staff I think I’ve ever encountered. Every single person working there was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond - they all seem to genuinely enjoy working there. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fine, a bit outdated, but it met my needs just fine.
