The Prince of Wales is absolutely beautiful! I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a more beautiful place. The staff are all so friendly and helpful.

I have stayed here before….beds are terrible.. I get..history…..but just sad room… food.. was out of most on menu.. especially high prices….bringing friends soon…staying in town

Loved that it had an elevator; frank often gave us a ride up to the 4th floor, and helped with our bags. He was so very nice and friendly. Matias was friendly when checking in and out. Also a very nice waitress during breakfast at the restaurant on the right side upon entering .i wish i could remember her name. Everyone was very nice, courteous, and asking about plans we had or offered suggestions. Cannot remember the young mans name that also took us in the elevator. Culry hair with s little moustache. Gave us a history lesson about the elevator as well as Frank. One other wonderful thing was the large updated shower. We were on the 5th floor. I would love to visit again, but a longer stay next time.

The Prince of Wales Hotel’s location is fabulously picturesque which includes the old world charm of the hotel itself. All three dining options offer a spectacular view of Upper Waterton Lake as well as excellent food & service. The grounds contain & allow access to foot paths where you can completely absorb the landscape. The Prince of Wales Hotel offers a door to all that wish to experience the embrace of Mother Nature.

This hotel is iconic and a must-stay place once in your lifetime. Our room has a lake-view which is incredible. The tea service was super fun and the service is stellar. Our room has a deck which you can walk out on. Bathroom is updated and clean. Bedding is comfy and clean. Highly recommend.

Blake and Mia were especially great Bell Hops. Very service oriented and a lovely old historic hotel. Great views from the Lobby and dining room. Interesting historical 7pm talks by Bell Hops. We had a very relaxing time. Fun scenic boat ride and some nice short hikes and beautiful drives. Also enjoyed the Buffalo Paddock. Waterton is not near as crowded as GNP in Montana!

Stayed here traveling back from Jasper to Kalispell. The lodge was in a beautiful location. Phenomenal views and we actually walked to the Bears Hump trailhead. Service was average. We waited 45 for our breakfast in the restaurant. One small slow elevator - we took the stairs.

The thing that stands out about this property is that it is a unique legacy hotel with a one of a kind character. It was constructed by the Great Northern Railroad in conjunction with neighboring Glacier National Park. One must remember when staying at such a property that it is old and because of it's historical significance it is not modern so there are "inconveniences" that are a part of that special legacy. The staff is young and eager to please and proud of the property and the legacy that it represents and this is reflected in the service that they provide. If you are going to stay at Waterton Lakes National Park (Glacier/Waterton International Peace Park) you absolutely should consider staying here.

Beautiful location and lovely property. Smaller rooms but quite adequate. The hotel was built in 1928 and reflect the time period with upgrades. The view from the lobby is wonderful and give the Canadian welcome anyone would want to have. Nice restaurant at hotel and some nearby. Small town flavor. well worth the visit
