Nice budget basic hotel 10 minutes from the State Park and downtown. Great views of the lake from every room. My only complaint was the lack of an ice machine.

Great place with a "Gorgeous View" 😊

Took a trip to the Glen and nearby falls. The Gorgeous View was a great place to stay as everything was within a 10 minute drive. The staff and owner were friendly. Neat and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Great for anyone not needing fancy. I'd stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

For the 170$ it cost we expected a bit more. Some of the sheets had stains, Room was a bit smelly, There was a fly in the room, The hotel is right above the road entering Watkins Glen and has trucks running there all the time, with insufficient Noise isolation, Noisy AC and refrigerator in the room. Curtains don’t shut light out. Exterior is dirty or peeling in places. Overall - Very basic motel

Nice shower and sink. Bed firm felt springs , noisy. Damp old building, air conditioner would not dry out room dampness, light musty oder. Overpriced, 70$ a nite room for 130$ a nite.
