Absolutely Amazing Stay! I had an incredible experience at this lakeside resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. The accommodations were beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of my favorite parts was the cozy lounge area, where guests can unwind with complimentary coffee or tea, play games, or simply relax. The outdoor fire pit was another highlight — perfect for making s’mores, enjoying the peaceful view, and chatting with fellow travelers. And best of all, the resort is truly dog-friendly! It was such a joy to travel with our pup and feel so welcomed. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy a beautiful lakeside escape!

The property was beautiful. We loved the chalet that we stayed in, super comfy bed, beautiful views, no matter which one you stay in. Staff was very kind, helping us park our trailer, and being accommodating. Would highly recommend this little secret in Watkins Glen.

Beautiful and relaxing

Our stay at Lakeside Resort was wonderful. We enjoyed 4 lovely days here. It was our home base as we explored the Finger Lakes region. We were always happy, after a day of touring, to return to our comfortable room and relax on our balcony that overlooked the beautiful green space and, in the distance, Seneca Lake. It was so peaceful. The staff was helpful and accommodating.

The owner and the staff at The Lakeside Resort are beyond awesome. Easily the most friendly place we have ever stayed. If you are going to stay on Seneca Lake, this is the place. Rocky the on site chocolate lab is the best. The food in the bistro is amazing. Even if you are not staying on property, it is worth stopping here for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The property was beautiful! The views were fantastic, and the staff was very friendly (especially Rocky, the resident dog). The cabin we stayed in was very clean, and had everything we needed. Close proximity to many wineries, breweries and restaurants. We ate at the bistro on site, and had great food. We’ll definitely be back in the future.

Nice view and stay

They made accommodations for my mother-in-laws wheelchair by providing a small ramp to enter the chalet. Everything was clean and well kept. It was easy getting assistance during business hours. It was well worth the money for the six days we were there.
