No one at check in
When we walked in the hotel a couple was standing at the front desk, clearly agitated. They told me they had been waiting over an hour and no one had come to the desk. The local phone number wasn’t working (it would just hang up on you). We searched the whole hotel lobby, bathrooms and found no one. We were getting ready to call the police (was starting to think some sort of foul play had happened) when the worker came out m. He said he was in the pool closet fixing the pool. The room itself was fine.

Looks like new ownership. Place is renovated. Warning: they will charge $30 for early check-in. New owner seems greedy. Of all hotels I've stayed at, we were never charged for early check in, even at this place prior to the renovation/nee ownership. Also got charged an additional $1, must be because we lost a key smh.

This hotel was clean, well maintained, and the staff was competent, professional and pleasant. I wish all hotels I stay at could be this nice. The pool area was kept warm making for a pleasant amenity. Kenny, our desk person was so very pleasant. It was affordable as well!

Friendly staff, clean, and affordable. Kind of out of town but easy to get around. Breakfast was out of a few things both days we were there. Didn’t try the pool but it looked nice. We would stay again.

Room was not ready at 3:30 pm. Someone cleaning it; smells musty. Washcloth on closet shelf with blood on it. Ants crawling under the room door and at pool. Worn out, dirty luggage cart with rusty wheels. Phone unplugged. Hot water was not hot. Creamer empty. Coffee watery. No tea with caffeine? Stale English muffins. Mediocre food. One apple moldy! AC vent clogged with dust. Wi fi doesn’t work. Can’t sleep-too bright. LED lights emitting from the clock and the mirror and bed frame. Super thin walls. Loud people stomping, slamming doors until 2 am! Trash cans overflowing with beer cans in pool area. Hot tub jets not working. AC unit outside drips, 2 large bags of trash outside back door. No vent in bathroom? Tub didn’t drain. Mattresses worn out. Paint chipped. Staff was nice but this place needs work.

Toilet was clogged and not attached to the floor. Humidity creeped in even with air conditioner on which made everything feel wet. Live bad at nearby bar was heard loudly through shut windows and fans blowing. WiFi was terrible - unable to stream anything.

Front desk service by Kenny was awesome. When greeted by a warm smile with seamless processing and supportive instructions & information the customer is able to come to a warm comfort level after a long travel day right off the bat. I enjoy a swim and the pool here was heated and clean. Room was spacious and bed very comfortable. A folks! Thanks!
