Owner was complete jerk. Booked a double queen and he didn’t have any double queens available when we arrived. We settled for a single king and went to the room. Realizing one of our people would have to sleep in a recliner, I went to the desk and asked for an additional blanket. He yelled at me for 20 minutes because we had 3 people in a king room and wanted me to call Orbitz and ask them why they let me book a double when none were available. After about 45 minutes, he bought a worn out stinky comforter to the room. Then 20 minutes later, he called my room and asked me to come to the front desk, when I went there, his wife wanted to charge me additional money. Complete joke. There’s not many options in Wautoma but I’d avoid this place if possible.

This was my second stay at this property. The first time, I was surprised to find a pool because it was not listed in it's amenities. So no bathing suit. This time, I invited family to join me in the pool. There we were in our suits ready to enter the pool area, and we were told that the pool was closed for repairs. It wasn't, it was the breakfast area that I only found out about the next morning. The hallway carpets were stained and dirty and were very offputting.

The room was clean and had the basics. The fixtures are a bit tired. The toilet seat has seen better days. the ceiling had been repaired but painted in areas with a different shade of white. Outside the areas were free of debris but the stone area the plantings could use a good weeding. Overall, a decent place to stay - not much available in Wautoma, Wi. We have stayed there more than once.

Did not know if there was wireless, had to ask on 2nd day, room smelled musty, AC old and did not cool the room well. Ice machine broken and no breakfast as the said under remodel. Bed was good and room clean

Unfortunately shower didn't work when we tried using it in the morning. They fixed it but we were on a schedule and it was too late. I asked for a small refund for the inconvenience. Only time will tell if I get one.

Arrived at 4:30 pm to check in. No one at front desk. Called number provided for 30 minutes and no one answered. Walked through the hallways and finally found someone in the laundry room who got someone to meet me at the front desk. Hot tub is filled in with cement. No breakfast provided. Sign on breakfast room door says closed for maintenance. Past reviews show its been closed for years. Wouldn't recommend or plan to stay there again. Hot tub
