This is a very nice property in a quiet residential area. Our room was in the loft with a full bed on the bottom of a bunk and a full on the top. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well designed and clean. The private bathroom had a jucuzzi tub! Sam is a great host; the breakfast was individually prepared and delicious. He is also helpful about the area. There is a ping pong table as well. There is a nice lake across the road. The only thing to be aware of if you stay in our room is that it is open to the downstairs as it is a loft. This didn't bother us but there is a little lack of privacy.

Amazing breakfast. The husband and wife were very friendly and accommodating. Bed was comfortable. Was great to be able to have a window open and listen to the crickets at night. Wish i would have been able to arrive earlier and enjoy the seating area in the yard. Highly recommend

This was a pleasant stay. The owner of the property actually makes fresh breakfast for his guests. Our stay was just for a night but it was very pleasant. Yeh rooms are very clean and so are the common areas. The fresh breakfast was the highlight of our stay! The owner Sam and his wife live on the lower level of the house and are very nice and sweet people.

Owner was very accommodating and did a great job walking us through the building. Bed was very comfortable. I’m new to staying in a B&B but it felt strange that there was another couple in the bedroom next to us - we could hear them talk and had to share a bathroom with them.

The home was perfectly clean, breakfast was delicious and had lots of choices. Bed was comfortable and host, Sam, was both friendly and helpful. Lovely property to enjoy as well. Be careful turning on to the driveway if you have a low riding vehicle.

We enjoyed the wonderful views and unique house. We had a lovely ensuite and the breakfast was amazing. We also enjoyed meeting the other guests at breakfast. Very relaxing atmosphere. We would have liked a TV in our room for the evening. The driveway was hard to find and quite steep.

The owner, Sam is very helpful and kind. His service was excellent and the property is very clean and spacious and comfortable. The house is sitting on the bank of a lake, backed by a small hill with a walking trial.

My sister and I had a great stay at Burgundy Dream B&B. The location was a bit tricky to find but GPS was helpful. The access to and seating area by the lake was very beautiful and enjoyable. Sam was a great host and shared some good information on places to visit in the area and while we were visiting NS. Breakfast was delicious. We were also able to do a load of laundry.

The house is on a lake with beautiful views. The property is among trees that lends itself to the feeling of being secluded. The sitting area at the back is a lovely haven.

Room was clean with comfortable king size bed and fan. Two nice chairs and small table. Sam the owner greeted us at the door after some cement steps to the back yard. Very steep driveway. Gave instructions on the door lock and keys. More instructions on the wifi and a shared bathroom. No one was in the other room so we had the bathroom to ourselves. Bathroom nice and clean and shower hot. We sat outside in the evening however wifi not strong enough to play music and the road was load with traffic and motorcycles. Not the quiet place I thought it would be. Could not see the water from the house.

The property is on the lake with views from the deck. The bedroom and bath were well-appointed. Sam cooked our breakfasts and his wife kept us company at the table. It is located between a number of great tourist attractions, but is not in a touristy area.

The property is located a few minutes from Halifax, just far enough to escape the hustle and bustle of the city to find peace and quiet, but close enough to be a part of it all. Hosts are such friendly, amazing people. Breakfast consisted of healthy, home cooked choices with more than big enough portions for anyone. When I’m back in the Halifax area I will inquire about staying there again. Thank you.

Driveway a little on the steep side when not used to it but the view and quiet peaceful atmosphere and the owner's ability to make you feel at home was all worth the stay there. Location was great for everything we had planned to do. I Even got to bbq a steak and potato supper which was amazing.

I stayed here with my son as we were on our way to move him into university residence. The home is set up perfectly for a bed & breakfast. We did not have time to enjoy the ping pong table but that is a nice option for guests. We did manage to head down to the dock to enjoy the sunset, which was a highlight. The breakfast was delicious and the company at the table was lovely. Sam & his wife were wonderful hosts!
