For a one night stop it was ok. The room was clean except the cleaners missed a few things! Bath mat was filthy as well as inside of shower curtain and shower mat.

Bed sheets were dirty when we got our room. Asked for another room, sheets on 1 of the 2 beds were dirty again. Door to hallway had a large gap so let a lot of light and noise in.

The first thing noticed was the disrepair around the building itself. The entry door was filthy. The area behind the front desk was strewn with garbage, tires, paper, etc. The clerk could not speak English. He spoke with someone on the phone for quite some time before they came to help us check in. The general condition of the lobby area was dirty and in disrepair. We asked to see the room. It was dirty. There was a distinct and unpleasant odor. The bedding did not look clean. The floor was dirty. We decided to not take the room and asked for a refund (we booked through Expedia). We were told that we could have cancelled the room the day before and that there would be no refund. Why would we cancel the room the day before if the reason we weren't staying was the condition of the hotel, itself?

Wawa Stopover
I recommend Alpha Inn as a basic, value hotel for a great night's stay. As a single traveler, it felt safe, friendly, very clean, well-maintained, nicely renovated rooms lots of hot water at 730am! I will stay again on my return trip!

The hotel and staff were wonderful, just maybe don’t use the free wifi, I also was a victim to a data leak, whether intentional or not. I’ll still give the place the benefit of the doubt, I was comfortable, safe, and was well rested for my drive the next day to Winnipeg All in all? 8/10
