I booked this hotel because it had the space I needed to sleep our family of 5. I also booked it because it stated it had an indoor pool to celebrate my granddaughter’s 4th birthday over the weekend with her dad who is a student athlete at SWOSU and other family that stayed at the same hotel for homecoming weekend. Upon arrival, I noticed there was a fence around pool and it was covered and not indoor as advertised and pictured. This was very disappointing as we were unable to swim due to the weather. Our key stopped working the next day and we had to wait in the lobby for the staff member to come back in from running an errand just to get our keys reactivated. This was a very frustrating and disappointing experience that ruined my granddaughter’s birthday as we were unable to cancel reservation and get another hotel to accommodate us.

Fine property to stay at on your way through. The keys never worked for our room and the breakfast was not done as nicely as our previous IHG stay. It was a quick in and out situation.

The day after check in our keys didn't work (we booked for 3 nights) and they said the system canceled the reservation. When I got new keys I went into my room and they had thrown away my shampoo and conditioner and my snacks. The drinks were moved in the fridge so they were probably discarded and put back. They found out that my luggage was still there and realized we hadn't left. They paid to replace my shampoo and conditioner. Then the next day my keys didn't work again and they said it must be the system or the fact I looked from a third party site.

The manager at this hotel was excellent in helping us. Apparently, hotels.com didn't send him reservations that were made when it was comfort inn prior to us staying now as holiday inn. He was able to take care of us and explained that this has happened multiple times to travelers that booked prior to the change over.
