Good hotel in great location

For a family group the room we chose, with one queen and two single beds was ideal. The room was tidy and clean. The location is very handy for the Te Papa end of Wellington too. Parking is available for a fee on a first come, first served basis.

The front desk staff members are excellent. They are super friendly and professional. They were quick to respond to any request and even followed up to make sure all was going well when I added extra nights for my stay. The view of the city skyline, the boats and the water were simply fabulous. Will definitely stay here when I return.

When we asked for tourist info the first afternoon we had a terrifying walk through the red light area. Not safe- receptionist should not have sent us that way. Everything was a shambles. The special room we booked involved me sleeping in a dark part of the room with no windows - claustrophobic and no power points by my bed. Not great for luxury bay view room.

Fantastic stay with my family. Staff were a standout, reception team very friendly. My daughter is afraid of elevators and the kind lady helped me unlock the stairs outside (unfortunately it was raining and staff member did get wet) so that I could walk our girl up to our room. Great location, room very clean, tidy and warm which was a must as we had a 8 week old baby with us. Only feedback was our room was a little outdated which didnt affect us too much, but no PowerPoint next to one of the beds meant I had to get up and down for my phone. And no lamps, the lighting was quite harsh for second bed. Bed by the tv was perfect. Thank you for an awesome stay, we will be back!

Great location and views over Wellington waterfront were fantastic. The decor was a little dated but the room was clean and tidy. Staff were wonderful, had to borrow umbrellas for Wellington weather, good customer service.
