I usually stay at a nearby hotel but gave the James Cook a go. I was certainly not disappointed as the room was spacious, clean, modern and in a great city location. I got room service one night and the food was tasty and piping hot. I didn’t try the restaurant or bar (lobby bar is currently closed). Overall, great vslue for money.

One night stay 2-3 Jan 2025. Part of a longer trip. Hotel has parking available, but not included, at a cost of 30 AUD per 24 hrs Our stay was great, we had a nice room, very comfortable. And the best part we weee able to check in 4 hours early at no extra cost. No negatives

Concerned that one has to pay $30 per night for parking particularly bein Christmas Day and no regular parking traffic requiring parks. Makes the stay for 2 pensioners having a treat away for the night an expensive experience.
