Arrived at the property, only to have to go further down the road to pick up room key from another establishment. Which was not known prior to arrival. Room felt dingy with the ironing marks in the carpet, dull colour palette and arriving to all curtains closed. Shower head quite low, even for someone standing at 161cm. Cleaner unlocked our room at night because given the wrong information about which room was vacant. Offer “tea and coffee” but no milk to make any of those with. Had to ask for towels as none were provided.

The place itself was very nice, but some of the facilities were in poor condition, especially the fridge which only had 3 legs, the lower door shelf was missing its front so couldn't be used, and the icebox was very iced up on one side and didn't freeze on the other. The kettle lid was broken, also the bathroom towel rail, one of the bed covers needed mending and the curtains had come unhooked in places (I rehooked them myself, only took a moment and should have been done). However the place was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower good - they just need to improve a lot on the maintenance!

Check in was frustrating being down the road at another motel. Bathroom not cleaned and towels had stains and smelt terrible. Lamp had no bulb in it. Beds were very uncomfortable. Then there was a man in his car outside our room lying down in the dark as if to go to sleep. We called reception where someone did come to check on him and it turns out he is a resident in the main building who was waiting for someone to arrive at 11pm, very dodgy. This is when we decided to leave and go somewhere else as we felt unsafe from that point.

The kitchen floor was filthy and didn't appear to have been washed for sometime. No tea towels supplied. The shower had mould on the roof. The beds were clean and comfortable

The motel was old - unit we asked to be moved to because of noisy position was quiet but had iron scorch marks on the carpet, mould around shower edges, no dining chairs, beds sloping inwards. Main annoyance was that the office was several properties away. Staff pleasant, however.

I made a mistake with my booking dates, and within hours tried to get it fixed. This motel chose to enforce their no refunds policy even though it was a genuine mistake notified very quickly, and there was no financial loss for them. I will never stay with them or any of their affiliate motels again.

Despite the reception being advertised as open until 9:30pm we had to go to another motel down the road to get our key. The mold in the bathroom was not pervasive but enough to trigger my wife's allergy. The wifi is useless. I couldn't connect at all at first as they had emailed me the wrong password. I couldn't connect to youtube so I measured the speed at 4.3Mb/s download and 0.48 upload. Glasses had lip marks. The bed was very uncomfortable. At 11:00pm there were only two other cars in the complex and no lights on so I wonder why we were given the worst room right beside a busy, noisy road.

We had to go 300m down the road to check in, when got in there was no facecloth, hand towrl, dish cloth, tea towrl, plug for the sink or a remote for the tv. We got 2 facecloths. There was something in the carpet that pricked my foot. The counters were all dsmaged, the light and the heater didnt go in the bathroom. Advertising 50 sky chsnnels, no sky remote. 19 channels which included the radio anf Plus 1 channels. Very sub standard.

Good location, the unit itself was alright but the furnishings (other than the beds) we so old, dated and mostly badly damaged. There was one 2 seater leather couch for 5 people and the seat of this was literally coming off and exposing the stuffing under it. No plug to wash the dishes nor dishcloth so we could wipe the benches/table and there was a very funky smell the whole time. Also turned up at the lodge and go to reception to find I then had to drive down the road to a different hotel to check in and get my key, would be great if this was advised prior to the check in date. The service from the man at the counter was subpar, the ladies were kind and lovely.
