here as a layover for the Cook Strait ferry. The concierge was polite and friendly even though we only arrived at 11pm. The front hallway was ok, but upstairs a bit rough. The rooms were clean and functional, but also a bit tired. Beds were comfortable enough, and rooms were warm.

The worst experience and the staff including the night manager was so rude. Not will to assist as their booking included on site carpark for additional cost but they don't update their systems when the parking is full. Very disappointed and the staff need professional training on how to have customer service.

Pretty basic and dated. Friendly staff and very convenient location for what we wanted. Building is ëarthquake prone/risk"so bear that in mind if thats something that concerns you. Overall I think its good value for money. $240 for 2 nights in Wellington for a triple room.

Don't get trick by the pictures, they are way better than what you'll get ! There was black mold on the windows and in the bathroom. In the room the smell was terrible, that's the first time I had to buy spray to cover an hotel room smell ! Some big stains on the carpet by the bed I don't even want to know what was it from. Only the bed stuff and towels were clean (on the surface). The walls are so thin we could follow the conversation of the people waiting for the elevator. Finally when we booked the room we received an email to book the parking, the link didn't work, I called to book but it was full, when we arrived they asked if we wanted to book a spot, we asked if it wasn't already full, for them to confirm it was full !

Friendly staff were happy to help with dining suggestions. The room was spacious, clean and had comfortable beds. You can see the age of the hotel in the hallways, but it is well maintained at a reasonable price, easy to get to by car or bus.
