It was unusually hot in the 80s so with no air conditioning you couldn’t be in the room during the day but at night with windows open if you have them - we did - my parents did not - it was comfortable sleeping. I don’t think the hotel is at fault just mother nature.

I commend the staff that hosted us. We checked in on the 4th of August 2025 and checked out on the 5th of Aug. I arrived late for the breakfast as i have the key and my son couldn't get out of the room, when we checked out I asked if we can have at least pastry as take away. The receptionist asked the kitchen team and gaved us marvellous ham and cheese sandwiches. Thank you. We were satisfied with the room that I booked (room with balcony). The view is like a painting. This hotel was absolutely amazing! We spoke with the owner and general general manager at dinner amazing people. The views are none better. Close to the train (3min walk) cant say enough about this place on how awesome it was!! Thank you!!

Loved Wengen

Hotel Regina is just steps away from Wengen train station. It’s like taking a step back in time entering the reception area. It was the first hotel built in Wengen. The breakfast was very good, and all staff members were super accommodating, kind and friendly. There is a restaurant and bar on site. The one complaint was you could hear people walking/talking in the room next door or if they were walking in the halls. Wengen was one of my favorite towns that we visited. It’s family friendly, near a lot of hikes and train station.

A beautiful hotel experience…

Room was comfortable and bathroom was clean and loved the actual bath tub. Enjoyed the breakfast and the view was amazing!!!

Do not book this place.! Not worth single euro. Hello, Currently I am staying at this hotel and booked it for 2 nights in wengen. I would definitely wouldn't recommend anyone to book this stay. Most unfriendly staff and very bad service. Not even worth a single penny. They gave us a rooftop room where we had to use staircase everytime it created problem with luggage and my mom was facing difficulty and gave us a room opposite to a lift service room where I was able to clearly hear the noise whole night and couldn't sleep at all, when requested room change hotel staff was not at all friendly and supportive very bad service old rooms

The view from our balcony was incredible! Very close to the train station and gandola ride. Staff was very friendly, especially Miriam at the front desk, who attempted to make us drinks when the bar was closed. She did a great job and was so nice to accommodate us. One of my favorite stays in all of Switzerland!

We had a very pleasant experience at the Hotel Regina in Wengen. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly at check-in and in the hotel restaurant. The dining room overlooked the Lauterbrunnen valley below with spectacular views. The food was outstanding, I had the leg of lamb and it was excellent. We will return next year to enjoy the views and food!

Nice hotel close to the train station. Breakfast was typical for Europe. You do have to climb a hill from the train station to get to the hotel. Also there is no parking in Wengen so keep that in mind if you have a car.
