This is a quaint, old style hotel that fit our needs well. It was centrally located, but difficult to find its exact location on the internet. The hotel restaurant was excellent as well.

Totally inexperienced staff in reception. No assistance with bags on arrival. Staff rarely around in reception who, when around, had no idea about local availability of basic guest requirements eg restaurants, trains, etc. We were'nt informed that restaurant was closed and breakfast was not available contrary to advertised.

Location is great, on the main high street near shops and train station and ski gondola Room (attic) very outdated decor, no lifts so had to take heavy suitcases to 3rd floor not good!!! Also, breakfast only mediocre continental no cooked options/cereals etc. Ski boot room in basement very useful.

Excellent location in Wengen with beautiful views and very reasonable stay compared to other hotels in the area. The room was decent, including basic necessities such as towels and toiletries. Shampoo and conditioner are not included. Staff is polite and helpful. They also provide a hot water kettle for 20 Swiss francs deposit.

Not amazing. Not impressed with the stay. It was expensive & definitely not worth it. We opted for private bathroom & it was smaller than a shoe closet, looked like it was a cut out from the room, definitely not the planned one. Staff was super nice & best i have seen in my swiss vacation. They are very helpful &. I loved the breakfast. 12CHF if you book one day ahead, 15CHF on same morning. Overall, keep your expectations low & enjoy views of the valley from Wengen

If you're wanting a low budget hostel type accommodation with shared bathroom and bunkbeds, you may find this hotel acceptable. The view from the terrace is beautiful and the $12 breakfasts were good.
