Very friendly staff, close to Yellowstone. Inn is centrally located in town, shops and restaurants are walkable. Older, renovated property. Breakfast was decent and very convenient so we could get an early start in the park. We really enjoyed our stay and would book this property again!
This is right outside the West entrance to Yellowstone. While convenient, I would not stay there again. The beds and pillows were awful for both me and my daughter. The breakfast was not very good. The people were nice but I ended the stay wishing I'd found another place.

The room was clean but needed updating. The breakfast and coffee was terrible. Had to go elsewhwere to find an acceptable breakfast.
Mattress was comfortable.
Nice property. Walkable to shopping and dining. Very close to Yellowstone park entrance

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Rooms were very small and dated. Breakfast was limited and could have used some healthier options like fruit or yogurt. Very walkable area and close to Yellowstone Park.
The room smelled horrendous. The carpet was worn and torn up. Toilet didn’t flush properly

It was very close to the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The only downside was when I wanted to eat something up in the room and found out there was no microwave. There was a refrigerator. The air conditioner heater was pretty loud
The room was clean and comfortable and it was an excellent starting point for Yellowstone. We enjoyed our stay.

Disliked: Amenities
Management had me reserved in a room near the road
Could hear every car and truck that went by
I have to wake for work at 4am so wanted something further from the street while vacationing so I could rest and relax on vacation…they offered me a basement room which I felt was creepy, so I kept the room…it was also musty smelling the entire time we were there and was woken all thru the night by the sound of cars and trucks.
They advertise a hot breakfast
I actually called prior to reserving the room,
Was told a hot breakfast…eggs with cheese, sausage, pancake and or waffles. 3 of the days the eggs were processed already premade, round in shape…not real scrambled eggs, the sausage was kielbasa not breakfast sausage and there wasn’t a griddle or waffle maker being told by staff it was broken…so I went to the front desk and the woman said she would tell the manager but nothing came about it. I would not recommend this hotel.
Overpriced former motel but I guess that is the going rate in September for West Yellowstone. Room 103 was 20 steps from their laundry room and that was a huge blessing while traveling
The location was excellent. While the rooms are dated, they were clean and comfortable. The staff in the breakfast room were very nice, especially Hector and Diana. The breakfast itself was just ok in a room that was bright and sunnny. Overall, we had a positive experience at the Brand'n Iron.

The rooms were nice. The only complaint we had was that they didn't let anyone take breakfast back to their room, but they do NOT have adequate space for all guests.
Really a dump of a place. I have seen Motel 6's that are better. Very limited parking space. No elevators - so if you are not on the ground floor, and you have a larger suitcase, good luck. One day we forgot to place a 'do not disturb' sign, came back later in the evening and found they had cleaned the room , but left the door open! We are 100% sure we locked it. Generally this town is an overpriced dingy town with run down motels, but this place was crap.
Breakfast was a disappointing experience. The seating was limited. If you arrived at a time when 12 other people were present, you had no seating. No big deal if you were allowed to take food back to the. But that was discouraged. For the 400+ rooms, they lacked parking. An employee had to give up her spot so we could park. Room was clean. Bed had firm edge, hole in middle and was on a metal base that squeaked when you moved. The room was clean. That was the positive.
