We had a nice comfortable stay at this hotel. Very close to entrance of Yellowstone Park, as well as shopping and local restaurants. Helpful staff and comfortable room too.

The employees who checked us in were friendly and helpful with suggestions of restaurants and maps of Yellowstone. We were feeling really good about our check in experience until the key card we were issued didn’t work. It turned out that the card was coded for the wrong room number so one of us was forced to hang out in the hallway with our luggage while the other one walked downstairs, got a new key card, and then walked back upstairs. Not the worst thing to have happened, but also not a five star check in experience. The lobby was really nice with a grand staircase and a welcoming fire in the fireplace. The room was typical of an older hotel room. It was clean. I wish there had been counter space in the bathroom. The top of the toilet was the only surface on which to put shaving supplies or a make up kit. For me, it wasn’t a five star experience, but since it had a good location and was clean, I would stay here again.

This is a great place to stay when you’re going to Yellowstone. It’s very close to the west entrance. It looks like an old time hotel but newer features. The lobby looks nice with a grand staircase.

The property needs an update, but is clean and in good repair. The location is excellent for jumping into Yellowstone Park. It is easy walking in the heart of West Yellowstone for shopping and dining. The free breakfast is poor, but free? I would stay there again.

I appreciate a hotel with character. The animal decor fits the location and the artwork throughout the halls and the room in which I stayed reflected the region. So much better than cookie cutter motel art. The breakfast selection was good, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the location superb for accessing Yellowstone National Park and enjoying the restaurants and shops of West Yellowstone.

The hotel lobby was great, very old western and well kept. But the room was tiny and the breakfast was blah. No meat and the only hot food was a self made waffle. The pool was ok but no hot tub. For the price, I expected more.
