There are a lot of transients in the area since it's right next to the freeway. They don't really come on the property but they're across the street at the gas station and the road that runs along the property. I never felt unsafe though. The pool was gross and looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the end of summer last year. It was quite disappointing since the temperatures were in the 70s and other guests were sunbathing. Super cheap though so you get what you pay for and friendly staff.

The whole room was dirty, the latch lock on the door was broken, the sheets and blankets had cigarette holes and the pillows smelled like weed, there were spiders in the corner of the wall, the tub was dirty, the pool outside was dirty and wasn’t swimmable, which was one of the main reasons why I got this hotel. At least the staff were nice, but that’s about it.
