Bad experience. 1st room outside light was broke and door was would not open. Front desk said door key entry battery must be dead. 2nd room smelled like smoke and mildew. So we asked for a 3rd room. 3rd room had 3 cockroaches in it. Small one on the phone by the bed. Another on the wall, third was on curtains. It was really late. My wife was freaking out and she only saw one. Next morning at breakfast employees were talking about quitting and how money was missing from the front register. We showed pictures of cockroaches to front desk. They said they would get owner. Owner came up and said sorry, and apologized. Said he just got back from India and hasn’t been able to stay on top of property but that was not an excuse. Said he would try to refund money but want sure if he could because we booked through Expedia.

Rooms need updated. Limited breakfast. While our room was just OK a little musty and furniture stained. We sprayed febreeze and didn’t use the stained furniture. Other family members rooms were filthy and moved and still not acceptable was going to buy stuff and clean themselves but decided to leave and go to the Hampton Inn down the road instead. So I got stuck there and brother and sister families were able to cancel still pending if they can get $ back from Hotels.com & Choice hotels. Expedia would not refund without penalty. We will not be staying there next year and will debate using Expedia again.

The staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating. Considering my family and I were only staying the night, we didn't use any other features of the inn besides the ice maker. The inn is located across the street from a Sheetz gas station and a Walmart which was very convenient. This helped us out by allowing us time to grab a few items we needed for our trip. The gas prices were also the cheapest around, extremely convenient for our stay at the inn. The morning breakfast options were very limited (as compared to other locations) but due to the size of the dinning area, understandable. The biggest problem my family had was the room we were auto assigned. The AC unit for room 110 didn't work and made it an extremely uncomfortable night to sleep with. Luckily, my wife brought a small fan with us to help cool us a bit. Upon letting the morning staff know about the AC unit, they were upset to see we were assigned that room and knew the room had a broken AC unit. The night staff (when we checked in) didn't seem to know there was an issue. Just be aware that this room might be an issue still (as of 8/2/24) when we stayed.

I'm really not very picky, but this hotel is just kind of run down and a little dirty. I know they are trying their best, but I would definitely choose another hotel if I every came to the area again. Good location, close to restaurants, stores and gas. And we loved the Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum! Highly recommend a tour there!

I had to ask for a new room the night I arrived, because of strong smoke & cleaning product odor. I was told that some people stand in the doorway to smoke, but it was obviously a room that was SMOKED IN ~ a LOT! I think you should really go after people who smoke in the rooms .... My 2nd room wasn't much better, but I stuck it out. The rooms aren't really well cleaned ~ looking over the side of the bed (between the bed & the nightstand) there were a lot of crumbs, etc. on the rug. The bathroom just smells .... bad. The breakfast was the same every day (7 days). It could be improved by easily adding a 2nd option for jelly ~ or varying the muffins. Hot water wasn't even made correctly ~ it tasted like coffee. My room was in the back of the building, and the garbage on the ground all around the dumpster looks really bad (the wood fence is gone). POSITVE comments: The bed & pillows are very comfortable, and the shower pressure was perfect! I did feel very safe, since I was traveling alone. The pool was refreshing. The hotel sits back from the highway, so the noise is very minimal. I've stayed here many times ~ alternating hotels in Weston when I visit. I like the convenience of it.

Dead roach in the bathroom and light did not work in bathroom. There may have been a family living in the abandoned car wash next door. Nice people outside at night smoking. Had AC and a bed so I was happy.

They had charged my card before I even woke up the morning of check-in, when I was still in the free cancelation period. I called to see why, as I was still 10 hours and multiple states away, and was told that's their policy. I asked again at check-in and was told 'the manager just does that sometimes'. What?? There were hairs and brown stains on the hand towels, the toilet paper holder was a rusted metal box that was literally falling out of the wall, there was a constant weed smell outside. Random people just stood outside our room smoking on the balcony. No elevator. The hotel feels the need to blast music from a speaker into the courtyard for people in the pool and it starts before 9am. Our room was right by the pool, so this is how I woke up every day. There's constantly people of questionable character lurking outside. 10 kinds of mold in the ice machine. Do yourself a favor and spend more to stay somewhere else.

My son and I stayed two nights. He was in Room 141 and I was in 117 (handicapped room). The sink stopper in my room was not connected. I turned in a work order and maintenance opened the plunger but did not reconnect the lever in the back. The tiles around the shower head were broken and sharp edges were exposed -- not safe for wheelchairs or walkers. Our commercial van was parked near the lawn mower outside Room 141. The whole electric breaker box had come out of the wall and was hanging on the building by wires. Dangerous.

Older, but it was just a travel stop. Staff was excellent, very friendly. Room was clean. Pool was operational. Microwave , coffee pot and mini fridge in room. Breakfast was normal. Good price. Better to staythere and drive to Morgantown, than stay in Morgantown.
