Great Hotel

Great hotel - 2nd time we’ve stayed here. Great amenities. Welcoming staff. Good quality breakfast, the new pizzeria restaurant menu is also a nice addition. We stayed in a family room, they are enormous - great to have a second double bed and not a sofa bed. Also proximity to Thorpe Park was handy… Highly recommended!

it’s one of those properties that were clearly amazing 10/15 years ago, it’s got the sort of feel of what wants to be a W hotel but just isn’t quite in the right places for that magic. but alas the experience just isn’t great for it could be it starts from the nickel and diming approach in incremental fees, much like an airline. But that’s kind of okay for the Premier Inn not so good when you’re claiming to be a four star hotel. Service is so so. It’s okay, but at the price point it seems to charge most days, you’re expecting much better experience. Particularly irritant was parking.The hotel has parking, but it is in the middle of nowhere and there is a literal free car park next door to it but it still insists on charging for car parking. Or if you need to stay half an hour later , they will charge you £20. All legitimate fees and absolutely they are entitled to do so and it’s their business model however a four star luxury hotel, certainly they dis incentivise me spending any money on anything extra. I’d like to do like a spa trip or a nice meal.

Excellent hotel right next door to Mercedes World . Every member of staff were friendly and helpful . Restaurant was a bit pricey but breakfast was very good . Was impressed with the gluten free station outside of the main breakfast food area . Good selection of food , well cooked and presented . Room was spacious and clean . Very comfortable apart from being very warm but well inpressed with the hotel and would definitely stay again if we visit Mercedes World

Decent stay

A hotel that we’ve stayed at before. We arrived 45 mins early for check in and they kindly offered to let us check in early for £15. We kindly declined. We mainly went for Mercedes Benz world which was undergoing renovation so a bit disappointing. The room was large and comfortable.

The room was clean and spacious. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help. However, the spa wasn’t what I expected. For the price of the room and the amount we spent for a three-night stay, I felt that access to the spa should have been complimentary. It was a bit disappointing considering the overall cost and it wasn’t that great.

Highs and lows

Family rooms are huge and have a view of the Mercedes World track which was great entertainment for my car mad family. Ohla on the front desk was great. Paying for parking was annoying. Breakfast was mediocre, though the kids enjoyed the pancake machine. The coffee was terrible and very expensive.
