Great family get away

Loved our stay in the shepherds hut. Great family get away in a lovely location. Fun alternative to our usual camping. Lovely facilities, amazing welcoming staff and delicious breakfast. Short drive to all local destinations…wish we had stayed another night!

The staff and the breakfast were awesome. I did feel all the pub locals stared at us on walking through the pub though. Our room was above the pub door, we heard the door bang every time someone entered or left. Sunday morning the music was on really loud and really early so not really the relaxing weekend we thought.

We stayed at the Windmill Inn for our honeymoon, the staff were wonderful and we felt extremely welcome. Food was absolutely amazing too would definitely stay there again and recommend.
