Old and terrible, not quaint and old fashioned
Aweful room conditions, sketchy front desk and bag breakfast with tons of carbs and sugar. The glass on either side of the door allows people to see in some. More than just a shadow and same goes in the bathroom. Floor is old and worn. The furniture was cheap and in poor condition.

The first room we were assigned had blood on the mattress, lampshade and wall. The second room was better, but far from clean. The neighbors were loud, drunk and up all night yelling and banging on their doors. We were woken up at 4:30 am every morning by arguments from other guests. The staff did not speak English very well, so it was hard to communicate with them. The balconies were great for smokers so if easy acces to smoking is a priority, this place is for you. Also, the trains go by from about 5am til 1am and they blow their whistle as they go by the hotel.

Avoid this place with all cost
I made a terrible mistake to make a reservation here with my family after a beautiful day in the Hudson Valley on a Saturday night. On entering the lobby, there were already pretty discouraging that two girls who look like prostitutes were sitting. Anyway we went on with checking in, the rooms were definitely overpriced, compared to what you get in other places, but overall were clean. However when my wife went back to the lobby, it was closed, and the girls told my wife that it is closed because the only person on premises had to go to one of the rooms because "police was called, as they found something in the room". This was around 6 pm. That was it, we decided to leave immediately, and drove home that night.

The location is excellent. The view is amazing. Even though the reception told us that the sheets had been changed in our room, we found many hairs between the sheets. The cover for a power outlet was missing. The breakfast was very basic: a small bag with a small bottle of water, a poptart and a muffin.

The inn was fine. Room was ok and clean. Only problem is the noise from the parkway . Constant noise from cars going by and the trains going past every 15 minutes and the trains blow the horns eveytime. Like I said the inn was ok but the noise was a bit too much
