Great staff!

Staff was lovely and the general spaces were very pretty. But our room was fairly average. Unfortunately the street noise was surprisingly loud and light shone brightly into our room all night, despite the blinds being pull. Really poor night of sleep.

We loved this old hotel built in 1912! It’s like we stepped back in time. The lobby was beautifully furnished and the general area where breakfast was served was delightful for card games in the evening. The rooms were equipped with modern amenities even while the windows and doors had an old world charm. We could park our car in the adjacent lot for $10 a day and breakfast had hot oatmeal and quiche, besides very fresh homemade coffee cakes, yogurt with fresh berries of the area. The lobby had popcorn and fresh baked cookies all afternoon and evening, great for our card games! We would stay here again!

Have stayed at the Grand many times and always pleased with our stay. The staff were exceedingly helpful during our stay with a special shout out to Audrey. I highly recommend staying here and will be back ourselves

A great in town old hotel. Manage your expectations. It’s not glitzy or fancy, but it’s within walking distance of everything in town, has a very nice common area down stairs, and a breakfast buffet that included quiche. We very much enjoyed our stay.

This property was very clean with a comfortable bed. I really liked the walkability of the location, and the continental breakfast was quite good. I didn't like the incredibly slow elevator (I was afraid it had stopped and we might be stuck in it the one time I rode it to the third floor), the room was tiny, I would have preferred a bathtub (but the water in the shower struggled to stay warm, so a tub may not have been a benefit), the air conditioner was super loud, and it would have been nice to have a coffee maker. Overall, a fair stay, but I paid way too much for the room in the high season. I would not stay for anywhere near that price again. Also- bring earplugs for sleeping, it can get really noisy due to traffic. Sometimes we could even hear it over the air conditioner, and that's saying something.

This has a very appearance. Old world modern look. However im disappointed in the amenities. No sealed glasses in the bathroom for drinking only one light next to the bed, noisy but working window air conditioner. Mattress is broken down and really not suitable for proper sleep. No headboard. Wall used and only small pillows. And for this we were charged $260.00. Definitely not a do over breakfast to be determined.
