It was super clean and the staff were nice, but the breakfast was extremely limited (only bagels and yogurt and cream cheese, and one apple for the entire building) and no water - we were told to drink the tap. There were some ants on the side tables and a cricket in the bathroom - which you are in the middle of the woods/camping areas, so definitely understandable. The beds were very comfortable, and the area surrounding is pretty quiet! The gas station next door sells good breakfast sandwiches as an alternative.

Had to have room keys redone every day during a 3 nighr stay. Day desk attendant always gone. Took 3 attempts over a two hour period to check in as we watched her walk around the parking lot on the phone. Night attendant was terrific.

The staff were wonderful, we checked in around 8 PM and were booked in the last room available. We had reservations. Our room had some issues, some they told us about but one they did not. I honestly think they probably should not have rented the room.

Front desk receptionist was super awesome. Very friendly. The hotel is close to a train that I heard around midnight, but it was really quick so not that big of an issue. Easy access to the interstate. Only concern was drapes were located over the heating/cooling element and would blow up every time the fan turned on. Being on the first floor it was kind of unnerving. However, I just shoved the drapes onto the window ledge and it seemed to fix the problem.

Very convenient access from the highway but felt very secluded and was quiet. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The perfect stayover on a drive from Ft. Worth TX to Kalamazoo Michigan. Would stay here again.

Friendly staff. Comfy beds. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Eco-friendly shampoo, conditioner, & body wash. Bonus: a shared freezer in the hall was helpful in freezing up my ice paks. Probably used by those who caught fish too.
