When we first pulled in, the property looked totally abandoned and the property next to it was boarded up and one of the front windows was boarded up. The man who checked us in was nice enough and the room was clean, so I guess that's all we needed that night. The entire property just looked abandoned from the outside. We felt like we were walking into the Twilight zone. But the room was clean and it smelled good.

I stayed at this motel a year ago on the other side of the building and it was OK. This time I discovered that there was no toilet paper holder, no extra toilet paper, no hangers for clothes, a light in the bathroom that would go on and off at Will, a chirping smoke detector that kept me awake until I unplugged everything, and paint peeled off many of the walls. On top of that, the bed was firm in the middle and soft on the sides, creating a lumpy uncomfortable nights sleep. If I could at all, avoid it, I would not stay here again.

The smell when stepped out of car was revolting. Sign at check in desk “No Refunds” should have been a clue! Had a small room attached to main room. It had a sofa and lamps and the only closet (no hangers). Not sure what room was for. There was no coffee pot and no cups to rinse mouth after brushing teeth! Bed was awful. Thin and metal frame springs could be felt. Paid 101.00 for a miserable night. Old, dated and not worth half what was charged. Never again!

When I got there, it was very noisy to check in dog barking. Kids hollering TV was very loud. I think he tried to get me at a different room than what I paid for, but he had to have his wife come out and help the room was dated but very clean. I didn’t have a problem with the room whatsoever. I stayed there years ago but this time with new ownership Will not go back

Arrived 6pm to check in. The sign said open but the lobby was dark and locked. When i pulled on the door, i could see it had a long cable lock wrapped many times through the handles. Eventually, someone can out and opened the door. They were not friendly and barely spoke to me. It looks like someone bought a defunct motel, threw some paint around and put down cheap flooring. The sheet came off and the mattress looked ancient and dirty which might explain the room smell. The shower floor was nasty and filthy. Most lights didn't work and stuff like like it came from garage sales. The exterior of the building has obvious wood rot. Not a place I'd stay at again.

The place was filthy and covered in bugs . The tv didn’t work and the rooms smelled. The customer service was terrible. The owners were rude and degrading to us and our dog even though it said pets welcome

Do not judge a book by its cover , it’s an older style building from outside I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and accommodating inside the room was . Also liked it was very close to wal mart , Casey’s and mcds :)

A Surprisingly Nice Stay And Great Value
The other reviews about the sketchy area, nearby packing company, abandoned appearance, lack of amenities and dated furnishings are accurate. No breakfast was offered. However, room was clean and fresh, renovated and comfortable. It was a good value and we would stay again.

This property gives off slasher movie vibes when you pull up. We honestly thought it was closed and abandoned. My husband wanted to find a different place for the night! Luckily we had talked with a local person that assured us it was open and that the new owners had been renovating the property. The man at the desk was friendly and welcoming. While the outside would send most people running away, the room was definitely newly renovated, clean and comfortable. I would stay here again, hopefully by then they will have gotten around to fixing up the outside as well.

Comfortable beds, inexpensive.
If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay, this can do. Just don’t expect a lot of amenities. The outside of the building makes you believe you are in the wrong place. The pictures definitely are a bit better than the rooms look. The bathrooms were small. I will say that the beds were very comfortable.
