Booking through Expedia was fine/simple, however that did not translate over to the property. We chose this hotel because it is located only 5.9 miles/7 minutes from the airport. We called in advance to ask if there was an airport shuttle, and were told there is. At that time, we gave our arrival date and time. After we landed in Wichita and made our way to the curb, we called the hotel to inform that we had arrived and were told by whomever answered where we needed to wait for the driver, and that they would be there to pick us up in about 20 minutes. After waiting an HOUR, we called several times to enquire where the driver was, but no on answered, so we ordered a Lyft. When we got to the hotel, the shuttle van was parked right in front of the lobby, where it sat for three of the four days we were there - in what appeared to be the exact same spot.
The room overall was clean, however there was a hole in one of the bed’s sheets, a hole in one of the hand towels, black mold around the bathtub, and mold around the sink’s drain area. Additional issues: The top of the AC unit and wall was cracked and peeling, the pool was full of green water and leaves/garbage debris, the lobby had construction going on, that wasn’t taped off. A front-desk staff male was less than helpful (the same one who said the shuttle would come pick us up). After we checked out, he went behind the front desk, in a side area, the phone rang several times, and he didn’t answer it. Won’t stay again!
