Historic Hotel in Lively Pietermaai

A gorgeous old building with a mixture of rooms. Ours was room 21 which faced into a courtyard behind Ginger restaurant and backed onto the pool area where we had our own little table and chairs to chill. Large room but toilet and shower upstairs up a very steep staircase - this is an old building but if you're infirm then would be good to know in advance. Location is safe and fun - in the middle of the Pietermaai district which is very lively especially on Thursday nights! Would definitely return. Great restaurants and bars on your doorstep yet just a 10 minute walk to the town center.

I loved everything about the hotel … great comfortable room , lovely staff , beautifully decorated. Only one issue… I would have liked hot water in the bathroom sink. I’m not sure why it wasn’t there but I would have wanted that for many reasons. All else was great!

Be cautious if you are provided a room with a staircase to a loft - the stairs are steep and painted which could cause some one to fall - not meant for those over 35. Otherwise clean and comfortable.

I enjoyed my stay in a deluxe room. The room was clean and had everything I needed. It was walkable to restaurants and shopping. My only complaints are that parking can be tricky since it’s street parking only and if the street parking fills up, which it did, you have to park further away and pay for parking. My other complaint, though I don’t know that the hotel had any control over it was that there was a dog in the alley directly behind my room that barked constantly. Woke me up during the night and super early in the morning every night that I was there. Otherwise, I had a nice stay and the staff are very kind and helpful.

I loved the room and the area around the pool. I also loved the French blinds on the windows and doors. Would definitely recommend to other travelers and would stay here again if I ever come back to Korsou.

It was very cute and very comfortable. My room Had window that was accessible from the street that did not lock, they were trying to schedule repair, but it’s an island and things move slow, so I found a way to tie the window to an object in the unit and said just wait til I check out to repair it. They suggest eating at Van Gogh’s, but it wasn’t great and rarely had seating.

The property grounds are impeccable. The pool was fantastic, our unit was exactly as described. It was adorable. The staff accommodated getting us in early and allowing a late checkout too, which was much appreciated. We enjoyed walking to the street to the back side of the property at night for some great nightlife and restaurants!

We really enjoyed staying here. This is our third trip to Curaçao and every time we stay somewhere else and always notice this place on our walking into town. So this time we decided to stay here and we weren’t disappointed. we were allowed to use the pool before our room Was ready and we enjoyed that plus poolside service. Too bad no Soft drinks, but they don’t advertise that they have any food or drinks available so it was a nice bonus to have the wine. The young woman who checked us in was amazing and the upgraded Room was very wonderful because my hips don’t like stairs - I’ve had both of them replaced. We will be back!
