The staff was great! But the room was a disaster. Dirty and the door to the room was warped and didn’t fit the frame. We had to slam it shut! That was very loud and I’m sure disturbed who was ever staying next to us. The lamp in the room and there was only one) was rusted on the bottom and the shade was dirty and ripped. The entire base of the room had dirt going around it. The toilet was very loud, even made a loud whistle that went on for a few mins. It was a mess!

Though Expedia did not do there part eventually and get payment to the hotel, the staff worked with us to help. After over TWO hours on the phone/ chat with five different Expedia employees that were friendly, the ones on the phone myself, my wife and the staff at the hotel could not understand, they also left, then hung up so I had to start the entire process over from beginning. We missed going to Busch Gardens with family because we could not check in. Last young lady was amazing and fixed the issue in five minute. The others should have been able to do the same. The hotel experience was great, the Expedia experience was stressful, frustrating, exhausting, and should have never happened. They need to do extensive training with staff. Never ever leave a customer with a problem you created having to go through this nightmare. I hired thousands of employees over my years running a business, the lack of knowledge was apparent quickly. Five could not fix a simple problem and I even gave three of them an easy solution. One, knew how to do her job and she should be praised. I saved my longest chat, though he tried and was friendly, he passed me off to someone else that did not fix the issue, left us stranded with no hotel that I had already paid for. He should have checked to see this was fixed not just passed off. Expedia, you have work to do on training. If my employees could not resolve and fix an issue this simple they could not work for me or my business. CWB
