My boyfriend and I stayed 1 night for our annual Busch Gardens Williamsburg trip and we will definitely be coming back next year! For the price, the Rodeway Inn is excellent! Affordable, clean, quiet. We arrived at around 11pm and the staff that greeted us during check in was extremely friendly and helpful. Parking was a breeze. You can park right in front of your room which makes it easy for you to take your luggage out of your car and into your room easily. The room was great. It had a charming and cozy vibe. One thing that I will mention was that there was a bit of a “musty” smell and the carpets were a little stained but that just comes with the fact that this is an older Inn. Bed was comfy and clean, bathroom was clean, shower was updated and really nice. They had free continental breakfast with a limited selection of cereals and pastries. The staff at the breakfast were so nice and they were dressed really cute! Overall, fantastic stay at an unbeatable price! We will definitely be staying for 2 nights next time we come! Perfect option for when you come to visit colonial williamsburg or busch gardens (only an 11 minute drive to the park!) Thank you for a wonderful and cozy stay, Rodeway Inn!

The gentleman (or not so much) on duty when we checked in was frustrated and condescending in all that he said, long winded and unable to make eye contact. He seemed annoyed by our arrival and did not hide it well. The woman who was behind the counter for check out was kind and gracious. Overall it was a quaint and comfortable stay for a fraction of the competition pricing. I would say to future guests, don't let the staff deter you from this place if they happen to be an ogre to you. It's in a very convenient and quiet location.

The property has a nice historic look but hasnt been kept up very well. The room had a funky old smell to it but was visibly clean.The front desk attendant was condescending and rude as well as difficult to understand. The breakfasr was one of the scantiest I've seen for a continental breakfast. I would gladly have paid a few dollars more for respectful staff and decent food.

This lodging was a great value and very convenient to Colonial Williamsburg. The lobby offered an appeal that set the tone for a visit to the historic city... but it was the staff that made our stay here memorable. We’ve never been more welcomed or made to feel important anywhere. It was free of stairs and easy to load/unload. A convenience store and breakfast place is next door. If you enjoy Kellogg’s, you’ll enjoy the breakfast provided.

The breakfast options were, toast, little muffins, bananas, cold cereal and instant oatmeal with milk or Sunny D. We wish they had a better variety. The pool was nice. The rooms are a good size but very dated and needs fixing. The bed's were like sleeping on a spring set. The mattress pads were coming apart. The staff were nice and accommodating.

Quite the amazing spot in Williamsburg VA! If one reads all of the reviews prior to mine; the comments are true! What a great place to have found! The staff is so kind, the rooms are very nice and I will most definitely chose this place again! The beds are comfy, rooms are clean, bathroom is super clean (including the plumbing). I have stayed in high end hotels that have had horrible plumbing; so, that's been a "look out" for me! The bathroom was great! If there were 10 stars ...I would give it!

I ended up extending my stay at this wonderful hidden gem in Williamsburg VA. My first impression was set right away the day I arrived and walked into the lobby. The lobby is charming, clean and the staff is lovely, kind and greets you right away! My room was just as wonderful! Clean, comfortable bed and very roomy. I cannot say enough about this hotel! Great quality and great price. Wonderful for a family and or a person traveling alone; I felt very safe! I will be back!

The property was a great stay for the price. All I needed was a quiet place to sleep and shower and this for the bill perfectly. If you are looking for a fancy place for your family to stay this is not it. If you want something that’s welcoming, quiet, clean and affordable, Rodeway is perfect! Very satisfied.
