Worst hotel stay ever
Checked in for a two night stay. We sadly had an emergency back at home that needed to be address immediately. We Came to the room at midnight with hopes to be able to get at least two hours of sleep before having to drive four hours home, since we had already paid for the night. Sleep never came. From midnight to 1:30am the hallways were full of loud and rowdy guests. There was no phone in the room to call down to the front desk. Tried calling the front desk from cellphone and there was no answer. Finally after realizing that there was no way for us to sleep, we gathered our belongings and heading to front desk. There was no one there, only a sign that said “stepped out to deal with guest request”. We waited 20 minutes but no one came. We just left the keys on the desk and walked out. Next day I tried to call several times to make sure that we would only be charged for that night. Called three times and had the phone just ring and ring. I work for Marriott. I understand that this hotel is not to the caliber to Marriott but it seems that guest satisfaction is not something that they don’t have any interest in.

The room was newly renovated. When using the shower the floor flooded creating a very slick unsafe condition. The front desk could not be reached since the phone in the room didn't work and no one would answer the phone when calling from a cell phone. Their response to the situation was pretty much we clean the floor and request new towels later in the day. Better customer service would be to send housekeeping and to move us to a new room.

I was told the hotel was under renovation. At first site hotel and room looked really good. Then I discovered the tv wasn’t working properly, toilet almost over flowed, sink drainage very slow, couldn’t call front desk; no number on phone. I book hotels that have breakfast and this there was no breakfast. Had toast, cereal and oatmeal. I stayed last year and had a better experience which is why I re-booked again. Will go elsewhere going forward.

The first room they put us in had bed bugs and we had to be moved a different room. Even the new room was very worn down and didn’t feel clean

Price was good but every horizontal surface including the floor had oily drops of liquid everywhere. Even my socks got wet. There was a big pile of dirt, lint in one corner of the room.Breakfast was comprised of coffee from a machine, very dry eggs that tasted like they had been cooked hours earlier and sausages sitting in a pan of greasy liquid. I ordinarily don’t complain but this was a bad experience.

Close to Busch Gardens and ok for a night or two.
Hotel was under renovation so some areas looked a little like a construction zone, while the completed areas looked wonderful. Room was comfortable, but the TV remote didn't even have batteries (had to call and request). Room curtain had a few stains (blood?) on them and bathroom looked dated, but rest of room was great. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Pancakes, eggs, sausage all were unappetizing and we left without eating much. Not sure if this is due in any part to the remodel or not. I would stay there again once the remodel is completed.

This property should not be made available on expedia and we should be given a refund. We used it to stay one night while visiting Busch Gardens so it was a late checkin and no time to switch hotels. The entire hotel is under construction. There is black mold in the bathroom. The beds are old and horrible. No amenities. No staff to be found after initial checkin. Incredibly loud and dirty. Walls had peeling paint and water damage throughout hotel.

This place has gone downhill. I usually stay here when I'm driving south, but our room was gross. The fan was broken in the room. I mean, theoretically it worked, but it made a horrible noise. There was dried blood on the bedding and curtains. One thing that was always great in the past was the free breakfast. That seems to be over. There was nothing hot (eggs, sausage). There was some bread and a toaster and cereal and a shared gallon of milk. Pass. I think this was our last stay. Staff is very helpful and professional.
