Very nice amenities, clean, employees are friendly, reasonably priced. If you don't want the time share sales pitch some people have mentioned, just don't go to the concierge desk when the desk tells you to. We weren't bothered at all and enjoyed our stay!

Lovely Property

Book a two bedroom suite for a friends getaway. Property is lovely, but know you will get a timeshare spiel. Pool areas are great, game rooms are fun. Suite itself was fabulous but the beds and furniture are very firm. Laundry and full kitchen are such a nice bonus.

While the grounds are really nice, the unit we stayed in was old and outdated. Creaky floors, AC unit not efficient, cracked tiles, clogged sink and it took 5-6+ min to get hot water in the shower. Great pool and amenities. We loved the putt putt course and pickle ball. Great little pool bar too.

Check in at this property took almost half an hour and then the staff would not check us in without us signing up for a timeshare presentation. In fact, they took a $60 non refundable deposit. Our weekend was packed and we were unable to attend to get it back. WHAT A SCAM!! Expedia, you should warn people about this.

I stayed at Club Wyndham with my family for my granddaughter’s graduation from William and Mary College. We all enjoyed ourselves and thought our 2 bed room unit was clean, comfortable, well equipped and relaxing. We hosted a luncheon for about 20 people and our place accommodated us all comfortably including the balcony. We enjoyed the pool and game room and found the staff to be very pleasant. I would return.

Loved the resort, Hated the vacation property sell

I loved everything about our stay at the Kingsgate EXCEPT the Wyndham Resort presentation hard sell. I can usually make it through these vacation property presentations with no problem but this one was aggressive and off putting. I felt offended and antagonized by Ray Pitts, our “guide” and the whole experience wasn’t worth the free gift at all. I know the Kingsgate is obligated to shunt as many guests as possible through the presentation mill, so I don’t hold it against them and still gave the review mainly 5 stars because the resort was great, they accommodated every special request I had, including early check-in. The suite was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We didn’t get to use any of the on-site amenities, but I loved the options for families. I would definitely stay again, and thankfully won’t have to go through another presentation.
