This is an average hotel in a very rural part of Pennsylvania. It's close enough to Penn State to attract visitors. Very outdated but the staff were friendly.

Beds were comfortable but there was no chair for the desk, no bench for clothes or suitcases and only 2 hangers in the closet, the tissue box in the bathroom was empty and the phone in the room was not operational - no dial tone at all.

There is no quality to this Quality Inn. After looking at reviews I requested a renovated room upon check-in because supposedly these were an improvement. After entering the room my first thought was ‘I would hate to see a room that wasn’t renovated’! It was dull, old furniture, drapes, bathroom vanity. Large gap under door and loud banging noise all night due to nearby exit door. The bathroom fan ran constantly, the TV remote was scotch taped together.

Our room was dirty with hairs on the bed and cobwebs around the desk and outlet areas. It didn’t look like there was hardly anybody there, but we were all the way in the back of the hotel on the third floor. Staff seemed frazzled when we got there.
