It was a quiet motel. There was a small store for snacks or nessesaties that may have been forgotten.. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

Started by waiting over 20 minutes at the front desk to check-in, no staff in sight. Called the phone number several times, could hear the phone ringing from where I was waiting, no one to answer it. When the staff finally came to the desk, she Printed me out a page to sign off on policies and the center of the page, front top to bottom, was completely blank. Clearly a printer issue, but why should I sign something agreeing to policies that I can’t read bc they aren’t printed? Finally made my way to my assigned room, to find the door was partially open, entered the room and it was very apparent that someone had been in the bed as the sheets and blanket were partially pulled down. Returned to the front desk and reported findings to the worker. She repeatedly told me that it was fine, that sometimes the housekeepers don’t pull the door closed all the way when they leave the room, paying no mind to what I was saying about the bed. I asked if I could be moved to another room due to the bed clearly having been used since the room was cleaned. She told me that was not necessary and again stated that the housekeeper just didn’t pull the door shut after cleaning the room. Perhaps that is the case but that does not negate the fact that someone had clearly been in the room and used the bed. She still don’t seem to understand. I told her she could give me another room or a refund, she gave another room. The entire property is under construction and a mess. Many safety hazards and loud b

A construction crew ran an extremely loud air compressor directly outside our room starting early in the morning. When we complained to the front desk they did nothing. The wifi password didn't work, the tub had no plug, and the hair dryer didnt work. The continental breakfast was a loaf of wonderbread and fruit loops. Bed was uncomfortable with lumpy pillows. Room seemed clean and looked nice inside though.

There was an unwrapped dirty coffee cup under the wrapped coffee cups. After I checked put a man who I’m guessing was about to clean the room I was in (108) cane towards me asking if I was in 108. I said yes. Couldn’t really understand what else I was saying very well. He had my grand daughter’s IPad that I forgot in our room. Very thankful he found it and caught us. I greatly appreciate his honestly and bringing it to me. Not everyone is honest.
