The staff were very unprofessional and rude. The room that we got reeked of cigarettes, it smelled absolutely disgusting. We were supposed to check in at 3 and didn’t get our room till 2 hours later and the staff was really rude about that as well. The lady there kept making comments about us in in her language which i understood. There’s no lock or safety lock on the room’s door. Overall worst experience ever, the area itself was very sketchy.

Our door key dint work. The phone was broken. Cable tv needed repair. Oh, our room smelled like pot. The desk man said something like " well this isnt a 200 $ room. I was appalled the room wasnt cheched out before they gave it to us in that poor condition.

This has been the worst hotel I have stayed in my life, the whole hotel is dirty both inside and outside, it smells horrible, the room is dirty, the shower was not even washed because it had hair and smelled like cigarettes. The shower curtain never been washed and smell nasty. They should really remodel the all hotel, because everything is rusty and broken, the walls with mold and the windows full of dead insects, a clear reality that they do not clean the rooms or the corridors well. I will never go back to this place.

This motel is so dirty, full of bugs, terrible uncontrollable bedding, everything is so backward, even no room phone, no service front desk though we rang bell for a long time. The worst continental breakfast. The milk and juice is not individual packed. A tank of gallon sits there for at least 2 days. No daily room cleaning . The smallest soap and shampoo that I ever saw in last 40 years. Flies flew everywhere…… bed sheet and pillows are dirty full of hairs….etc,etc…..

Not worth It!
Poor! I did not realize tbat this establishment was at a truck stop/gas station. When booking and looking at the photos on line, dont be fooled. It is a bait and switch. The building is in need of repairs, furniture is old, the "continental breakfast" area, dont waste ur time. Our room smelled of mold and smoke, the bedding looked old, there were holes in tbe blankets (cigarette burns). Shower curtain was hangjng off and mold in the ceilling. Worse of all, there was no heat. We did not feel comfortable or safe. We slept in our clothes. I was willing to lose $100 to find another hotel, unfortunately, i was not able to find another place. It looked like others were living in the hotel.The department of health or management must care about this establishment to enure it is a clean, safe and an inhabitable environment for its guess.

Needs renovation
According to staff the hotel "overbooks". Was concerned I was even going to get a room as I watched two staff members be hostile to a customer. Elevator had a rug thrown on top of original carpet and not even neatly laid out. Whole place is very worn and did not have a clean feeling about it. The chain for securing door in room was gone.

When I came into the hotel I was greeted by a stench on cigarettes with marijuana on the 2nd floor. When I entered the room, it was left uncleaned with used towels, unmade pillows and a stench of sweat. The carpet was filled with red and yellow stains with dust all over. We asked the front desk for change of rooms. When changing the rooms everything was nice and looked clean. To my surprise when I was about to fall asleep my skin started to ich. I checked my body and I was covered my bed bug bites. I am horrified with this hotel. How can a hotel even allow this? Do not go here, look at the reviews. Get a refund as soon as you read this review.

People coming and going up until 2am in the morning. Overall property needs tefurbishment. Carpets in hallway were stained. Entire building smelled like cigarette smoke. Bathroom Shower was stained/dirty. The only updide was price and proximity to UConn.
