Might not be my first choice....
This property is a bit out of town, so be aware when booking that if you need things from town, it is a bit of a drive. Lots of oilfield workers, so the interior hallways take a beating. Dirty carpets and mud from work boots is common in traffic areas. Rooms are well appointed, though the bathroom has large cracks in the walls, linoleum was lifting at the tub, water damage will definitely occur at some point. Decent value for money

Good hotel
This hotel is a bit out of the way but Williston is small so it doesn’t matter. There is no pool but the fitness center was clean. There a few broken tiles, especially in the elevator. Our room could have used a better vacuuming but the bathroom and bedding were clean.

The staff was great around the clock and with the bar and restaurant right on the property made dining convenient. Prices and food were good. I would recommend the BAKKEN to anyone staying in the Williston area looking for comfort and convenience at an affordable price.
