The refrigerator did not work. I called the main desk and was told it would be checked later. Meanwhile, I had purchased food which subsequently went bad. No one came to check it until the morning of my check-out. He said the plug was out and plugged it in, and commented that when the red light is on, it is working. He fixed it.
The man at the desk claimed there was some sort of blackout the day before my arrival. If so, they did not check to see if appliances were working.
I paid for a room with a kitchen. I could not use the kitchen because I could not put food in the refrigerator.to cook. I was not offered a refund for a kitchen I was rendered unable to use, nor was I refunded the cost of damaged food.
On my first night, I requested whether they could order an Uber when I had to return to the train station. The young lady at the desk said yes. On the morning of my departure, I was told that it was not true. They did not even have a number for Uber. I was told Uber could be ordered from my phone, but I needed to have the app. That could only be done on my laptop, which was already packed. They tried to order me a taxi which ultimately could not be sent because the driver did not come into work today. Consequently, I walked from the motel to the train station, a little more than one mile, with a heavily packed wheeled suitcase.
Additionally, there was mold around the rim of the bathtub, and burn holes in a chair that also had part of the fiber scraped off.
