The rooms are old and they smell old. The bathroom smells like mildew and the shower walls do not look like material that should be used for a shower wall. The drain in the bathtub is slow. The shower walls were not cleaned very well. The halls looked like they haven't vacuumed in a very long time. The outlet beside the bed is a fire hazard; anything plugged in is really loose and the USB outlet looks like someone gutted it. Our door wouldn't open when we unlocked it.. apparently you have to put your full body weight into it. When the staff member showed us, she was very condescending.

The staff was amazing, very attentive and welcoming. The hotel is a little on the older side, but updated and clean. The one thing that I noticed about the Marriotts, they no longer put a microwave in your room, forcing you to go to the lobby to use one which is hugely inconvenient. Seems like a marketing ploy to get you to buy way overpriced items from them. I mainly stay at the Marriott but have recently stayed at Holiday Inn express & Hampton Inn and they not only have FREE beverages (water/soda) but they still offer FREE continental breakfast. Marriott’s no longer offering ANY type of breakfast, not even a piece of fruit or granola bar. This is putting the “C” in Cheap for me. I love ya Marriott, but come on, you’re making plenty of $$$ please bring back breakfast or at least a microwave in the room. 🙏🙏
