The hotel is in a great location. Plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. I didn't care for the breakfast , the same food every morning. Housekeeping didn't make sure our room door was closed after she cleaned our room. Upon arriving back to the room from being out all day , we noticed our room door was left open. I called the front desk to inform them of our findings and all I got was oh the housekeeping must have left it opened after she cleaned your room. Not one time did we get an apology. Thank God none of our luggage or the items we left in the room were stolen.

Perfect for my family!

Me and my three kids came down to have a weekend at the beach and I loved the location! It was convenient to stores and restaurants! I loved the 24/7 coffee! And it was so clean they were on top of keeping the breakfast area clean in the mornings! And the beds omg I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere to where I loved the way the beds slept! Will definitely be planning another trip here.!

I had booked at The sleep Inn originally, that place is a total dump!! It was smelly, lights out, and tv didn’t work!! I moved across the street to The Wingate! A 100 times better! It’s clean (immaculate), spacious rooms, nice linens. Staff are very professional and friendly. I enjoyed the remainder of my visit to Wilmington.
