Tru hotels are fun! The deco is new and fun, the breakfast is wonderful in the morning, the rooms are clean and fresh. I went out of my way to stay here, as I have done in the past. I also love the scents of the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, moisturizer... They provide a much as you need...

The staff we not helpful or accommodating. They overbooked the hotel by 13 rooms with two beds in them, so they would have to switch us to two separate rooms with a king in each (this happened to several people staying)...We explained we were traveling alone with children did not feel comfortable leaving our kids alone in a separate room. They were very rude. Told us that we would then have to cancel the reservation (that we had for months) and stay down the road if we wouldn't do it. Also several other safety concerns with broken door locks (rooms and outside doors) that we would like to talk to a Hilton representative about which are very concerning.
New and clean Tru. Convenient for business in Wilson. Also like that it is pet friendly. Nice breakfast. Only complaint with Tru is no coffee makers in the room.
My family and I enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, customer service was good. The kitchen staff Vivian was friendly and easy going. She was very pleasant and the coffee she made was great. She has great customer service skills.
Overall good, except for two things- the walls seemed thin as I could hear the next rooms conversation for hours. Also front desk didn’t tell me anything about the property.
