Weekend break in Winchester
Stay was perfectly fine, Spa was nice but we didn't eat in the hotel so cannot comment on food and drink service. Staff were friendly and everything was clean and tiday in the hotel. On-premise EV charger was broken when we arrived but i called the company and they rebooted it for me. I was then able to charge the car OK.

It all seems like too much effort
As a person who lives out of hotels , I expect the basics, and thi one failed on my first and last visit. Th priority of ther hotel seems to be the events and notthe overnight guests, Could not get a table to eat as the restraunt on site was too busy on the first night, afer being told i need to book . .... before I arrive. I must say with 5 people and multiple empty tables I found this unnaceptable, it sems understaffing was the issue, afer being told to book in again in hour, 2 hours later was informed at 9:30 chef was finished, thats was the final straw , Fawlty Towers springs to mind. On a positive my following nights were considerably better, but i believe this was to avoid a poor review. Rooms clean and comfortable. Onsite Spa, generally clean, Hot tub full foaming scum not removed reguralarly, needs attention to detail. While Im not part of a large coach group, the individual guests matter.

The property was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were lovely with everything you need in the room. The spa was very modern as well as clean with friendly staff at hand if needed. Highly recommend this hotel will definitely be returning soon .

Great stay - this is the second time we have stayed here and we found staff friendly whilst providing excellent service. The spa and treatments are relaxing and easily accessible. We also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant which was both well prepared and a reasonable price. We would stay here again.

Great stay overall. Easy parking, even though it was paid. Rooms were a bit of a maze to find up and down and around, but with the older building floor plan, was expected. Restaurant was nice and was open till good time. Only con, the shower was impossible to get the correct temperature and pressure and the overhead rain shower never worked. Would recommend!

The room and bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and keen to make my stay pleasurable. However, I object to having to pay for parking at the hotel when I am bringing business to the establishment. I was also appalled at being charged £10.95 for a large glass of merlot - more than a bottle would cost. It leaves one with a sense of being ripped off. Had they charged less, I would have drunk more and the hotel would have made more of a profit.
