Dear Owners, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent stay at your hotel, which was booked to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately, our experience fell far below the standards we expected. On arrival, I was shocked to find that half of the hotel was under construction, with a large skip outside the entrance and building materials scattered around. This was neither mentioned at the time of booking nor communicated beforehand. The “view” I had paid extra for was completely misrepresented and nothing like what was advertised. To make matters worse, we had to request that dirty pillowcases be changed upon arrival, which is unacceptable in any circumstance, let alone for a special occasion. When I raised these issues with staff, I was refused the option to check out without penalty and was also denied any form of compensation, which left me extremely disappointed. This was meant to be a memorable and enjoyable stay for our anniversary, but instead it was stressful and upsetting. I feel that we did not receive the service, environment, or value promised at the time of booking. I am therefore requesting a full refund or, at the very least, appropriate compensation for the poor experience and misleading booking conditions. Please confirm how you intend to resolve this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

It was unusually hot for the UK and there was no air-conditioning, so we had 2 quite uncomfortable nights sleep. Otherwise, it had a superb balcony with an excellent view of the lake.

We visited this place and hotel for the first time we were pleased with the quality and service of the hotel specially the spa though it is chargeable but still worth of money indeed if u need something good for yourself it is a refresheing experience for your body mind and soul must visit this hotel and enjoy all the services as it will be leaving a refreshing for yourself and you might find a new in you once u leave this place “ TRUST ME “ Thank you for everything ❤️❤️

We came to celebrate our anniversary & when checking in got a lovely surprise that they upgraded us! They even laid rose petals out on the bed! Room was absolutely gorgeous with the most unreal view, comfy bed & jacuzzi in the room too. Spa was £20 each for 24 hour access which we found really good as most hotels only give a 2 hour slot, it was really pretty & relaxing too. Lobby/bar is amazing, the interior is gorgeous!! Amazing to have breakfast & a drink on the balcony in the sun with the view. Breakfast was £15 each, was so nice and worth it. All staff in the hotel were amazing from start to finish, thank you so much! We enjoyed our stay that much and made our anniversary even more special! We didn’t want to leave & already planning to revisit! Highly recommend :) - they are having some renovations done currently but really doesn’t affect anything at all as it’s at the side of the hotel & isn’t loud at all.

Bad service narrow rooms high price not for family

I had a very disappointing experience, both in terms of comfort and service reliability. First, I was charged £160 at reception for the same room I had already booked online for £230 (for two nights). This inconsistency in pricing was not explained, and I felt it was unfair. Additionally, a child’s bed was added to the already small room, leaving barely any space to move around. This created a serious safety issue—everyone in my family ended up hurting their feet because of the cramped setup. It felt more like a health and safety hazard than a comfortable stay. Worst of all, after I paid with my card using the machine and PIN at reception, the staff member manually wrote down my card details—something that felt highly unprofessional and concerning. Later, I discovered an additional £40 had been charged to my card after I left the hotel, without any notice or explanation. This experience showed a lack of transparency and care for guests. It seemed like the priority was money, not the comfort or safety of customers.
